Hello, my name is Henk Bloebaum.   

 

 

I first came across an ad for the Burns of London guitars back in 1962, it was love at first sight! 

As the guitars were not yet available here in Holland, I ordered the Burns Vista Sonic from a music store in England and had it shipped directly to me.

 It was a wonderful guitar! Throughout the Sixties I continued to become more impressed with the guitars , even after Burns was purchased by the Baldwin Piano Co of Cincinnati, Ohio USA.

 

For many years I corresponded by mail with Jack Golder, who was very instrumental in the design of the Burns guitars.            

We remained good friends until his death.

 

When ever possible I made trips to London to find the Burns/Baldwin Guitars and eventually was able to assemble this fine collection .                                                                                                                                                                                         

So I am very proud to share it through my website.
